ORDINARY GIRL -
Risky Records, Australia
From Hollywood glam to Aussie bush, from
classical student to pop perfectionist, it's been quite
a journey for Olivia Eden. Her debut album, "Ordinary
Girl" is a shimmering collection of beautifully crafted
songs bristling with personality. Whether in the jauntiness
of "Goodbye My Friend" or the gut wrench of "Smile",
Olivia's vocals have a warm clarity that owe much to her
operatic background. "Ordinary Girl" is destined
to see Olivia Eden take her place as one of Australia's
leading female singer songwriters.
"Ordinary Girl" was recorded at
Sony Studios Sydney. It was produced by Daniel Denholm (producer
of Aussie band The Whitlams), arranged by AFI (Australian
Film Industry) award winning composer, Stephen Rae, and
features Terepai Richmond of The Whitlams on drums.
